| Dr. Diaz Castillo obtained her PhD on [[https://freidok.uni-freiburg.de/data/269611 | "Convective plasma-magnetic field interactions in the Quiet Sun revealed by spectropolarimetric diagnostics"]] in 2025 from the Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg in Germany, working at the [[https://www.leibniz-kis.de/en/home/ | Institute of Solar Physics (KIS)]]. Dr. Diaz Castillo has an expertise in spectropolarimetric analysis, machine learning and computer vision in solar physics, in particular regarding the inversion of magnetic field.
